Tobin Science Hub ("the Service," "we," "us") provides online study materials and teacher tools for middle-school science, aligned to the Georgia Standards of Excellence. Students do not create accounts and are never charged. Only teachers create accounts, and only certain teacher tools — the assignment builder, the gradebook, and the printable library — require a paid subscription.
To use the paid teacher tools you create an account with your email address and a password. You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to use a school or work email where possible. We may suspend accounts that are used to abuse the Service, share paid access improperly, or violate these terms.
New teacher accounts may start a one-time, seven-day free trial that unlocks the teacher tools for all subjects (the printable library is not included in the free trial). No credit card is required to start the free week. When the week ends, access simply locks — you are never charged automatically. To keep using the paid tools after the trial, you choose and purchase a subscription.

If you believe you were charged in error, contact us (see below) and we will review it in good faith.
You agree not to resell, sublicense, or redistribute paid content (including printable PDFs) outside your own classroom use; not to attempt to bypass access controls; and not to disrupt or reverse-engineer the Service. Printable materials and on-site content are provided for use with your own students.
The lessons, games, question banks, printable materials, and site design are the property of Tobin Science Hub and its creator and are protected by copyright. Your subscription grants you a limited, non-transferable license to use them with your students while your subscription is active.
We work to keep the Service available and accurate, but it is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that the materials are free of errors. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or incidental damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the prior twelve months.
We may update these terms or prices. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above; continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms. Existing subscriptions keep their price until their next renewal.
We share the limited data above only with the providers that run the Service: Supabase (teacher accounts and subscription records), Stripe (payment processing), and Vercel and GitHub Pages (hosting). Each processes data only to provide their part of the Service.
Solely to operate the Service: to sign you in, to know which tools to unlock, to process your subscription, to provide support, and to keep the Service secure. We may email you about your account or subscription (for example, a receipt or an important service notice).
We keep your account data while your account exists. You may request to see, correct, or delete your account data by contacting us. Deleting your account removes your teacher profile; payment records may be retained by Stripe as required for financial and legal recordkeeping.
We use reputable providers, encrypted connections (HTTPS), and access controls. No online service is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
Tobin Science Hub is designed to be student-privacy-friendly. Students reach their work through a link from their teacher — no student account, no student login, no student email. A student's quiz scores and game progress are saved locally on that student's own device (in the browser), not on our servers. When a student shares results with their teacher, it is through a short results code the student chooses to copy and paste; we do not collect a roster of students. Teachers are responsible for following their own school or district policies when using the Service with students.
